Why Contribute? 
Your donations are very important to us. We do not charge a fee for our services to children and their families. Yet each day there are additional requests by parents to enroll their child into our program. It costs each Big Brothers Big Sisters Agency approximately $1000 to create and sustain a match of a Big Brother/Big Sister and a Little Brother/Little Sister. You can support Big Brothers Big Sisters in several ways.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the most important annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Remember you don’t have to be a pro-bowler to participate. The idea of Bowl for Kids’ Sake is to have fun and help local children at the same time. Bowl as a family or as a work group. Money is raised by seeking donations (pledges) from businesses or friends who sponsor your bowling. Prizes are awarded throughout the event. Our 2008 Bowl for Kids’ Sake will be held Saturday, April 19 at Faxon Lanes in Loyalsock, PA.
 

Here are some of the ways in which you can help make this year’s event a great success.

Form a Bowling Team
Become a team captain by recruiting a team of 4 who will seek sponsors and bowl during the event

Recruit additional teams
Encourage your friends, relatives, and business associates to form their own team

Become a Lane Sponsor
Lane Sponsors are area businesses or individuals who pay a modest fee to have a banner displayed with their name and logo. Encourage an area business to become a Lane Sponsor

  • We are a non-profit agency registered with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations. Your contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Upon receipt of your donation, a letter of acknowledgement will be sent for your records.

  • Donate Stock
    All your donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lycoming County are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. This includes stocks and bonds you transfer. Simply call or have your accountant call 570-321-5437.

  • Life Insurance
    Designate our agency as a beneficiary in your will or life insurance policy.
